Cam's Party

For Cam's 10th birthday party, he decided to team up with his good buddy Austin, who happens to be 1 day older, and have an air soft gun battle.

Jenny and Jim hosted the party and had some great obstacles set up for the boys. They started out with some target shooting...
then, headed down the street to play capture the flag (airsoft style).  We made sure they all had eye protection and long sleeves, and then we let them loose!

A boys' dream come true!
Payson got in on the fun too. Luckily, he never got shot. I'm not sure how he would have handled that.

I love that Jake taped up his hoodie to protect his head. Very smart, considering Cameron shot him in the back of the head on accident.
The cake was amazing. Jenny made it and a good friend of ours frosted it to look like a target.

We also had the boys shoot at a pinata that looked like a target.

I thought it was adorable that Bailey and Sarah came over and sat on their brothers' laps while they opened presents. Sweet.

Gingerbread houses.

While I was out finishing up some last minute Christmas shopping  and picking up their dad from the airport...
The little Shepherd elves were working diligently on their gingerbread masterpieces.

I love them. Check out the ARIZONA SNOWMAN!

Football Champs

Archway Trivium's first flag football team took 1st place in Saturday's tournament. They beat Anthem Prep and both Chandler Prep teams by a landslide. They worked together and gave it all they had!

Cameron has so much energy! He is great at getting his teammates excited and motivated.
He also keeps a close eye on the ref to make sure that he is doing his job correctly.

It was a long, cold day. My girls were good sports and cheered for their brother through the harsh Arizona temps (ha ha).
